Yahoo Web Search Shall Now Be a Safer Experience

Websites that could harm the user's computer just by visiting shall be now eliminated.

Yahoo the leading web search engine has partnered with a technology security agency McAfee to ensure a safer search browsing experience for you and your website. Yahoo is making a great move to save your computer from unwanted viruses which might enter your computer by entering websites that are listed in the search engines but are unwanted and useless.

The search scan feature by Yahoo, will also provide alerts about 'potentially risky' websites. Risky websites are those websites that have issues relating to spyware, adware and other spiteful sites that can cause harm to your computers. More over the Scan search feature shall also be picking out websites that have been reported for email spamming. Websites that are responsible for flooding user inboxes with unwanted emails shall also be moved out of the search list.

Now searching the web will become a safer experience and much more refined too. Web searchers will not have to worry about pc viruses or malicious websites that will import their email id and fill their inbox with spam mails. This is a unique measure taken by Yahoo, which no other search engine had thought about so far.

These measures of introducing a more refined search technique are making search engine marketing a more reliable source of looking for stuffs on the web.

Microsoft No More Interested in Yahoo

Microsoft's last bid of $5 billion was put down by Yahoo. Microsoft decided not to bid any further and refused to bid any further.

Until yesterday, Microsoft seemed quite eager to get Yahoo into their team. Talk on the deals had been on for quite some days when just a few days ago the conversation seemingly has come to an end finally. When Microsoft had placed it's first deal sometime in January 2008, Yahoo had rejected the offer calling it a 'substantial undervalue' to the company. But when the search engine wanted Microsoft to increase its latest $5 billion offer, it was Microsoft that stepped back this time.

Yahoo personnels state that they are open to the bid only if Microsoft keeps up to the search engine's value and the intereset of it's stakeholders. And on the other hand spokesperson from the Microsoft end, say that the economic demand stated by Yahoo is unexpectedly high hence, they decided to step out of the bid.

The Yahoo-Microsoft clash has been a hot topic of discussion for almost five months in the Online industry. Every one seemed concerned about the bid, and wanted to place their comment on it. Some said it would mean a stronger competition for Google, where as there were others who suggested that Yahoo will soon lose its identity if this merger took place, but now, when the bid is not taking place, not many mouths are opening. It seems this break up was a much expected one and people are sort of easy with the idea.

Microsoft Yahoo Google Verbatim

Microsoft Corp is trying to leave no stone unturned for the yahoo deal and it seems that in coming few days online marketing would experience a sea change. The software giant has offered a higher takeover bid in front of Yahoo Inc, hoping to reach a friendly deal after weeks of speculations. But still the chances are no better than 50-50.

Microsoft upped its offer beyond the original value of $44.6 billion, or $31 per share. The New York Times reports that Microsoft boosted the offer by several dollars per share, lending weight to the assertion by many market analysts that Microsoft can afford to pay up to $35 a share.

Even as Microsoft and Yahoo were talking, Yahoo was also talking with Google about a broader search advertising partnership. Now latest buzz is that if talks with Microsoft collapse then Yahoo will probably follow through with a Google deal which promises a paradigm shift for the whole Internet marketing scene. In fact in may also change the search engine marketing models.

Now the Internet marketing world is waiting impatiently for the final outcome of the talks among the three global leaders in their own fields which are Microsoft, Yahoo and Google.

Web Applications to become a prime focus of Web 3.0

After Web 2.0 has soaked completely in the internet industry, experts have already started building on road for Web 3.0.

Woops!! The Internet industry just doesn’t seem to take a deep breath. It has hardly been some time that the Web 2.0 has sunk into business, evolutionists have already started channeling their business for scopes in Web 3.0. Web 3.0 is being called the future of World Wide Web. It is being used by experts as an alliteration to term the forthcoming wave in the Internet Industry.

In one of my recent browsing spree, I came across a blog that said “Web 3.0 is something called the Semantic Web.” Semantic Web! Wow!! sounded interesting to me and made me inquisitive to look further into it. My research says, Semantic Web is a term given to those web applications that can read a web page much as a human can. It is a place which shall transform the web in a human which can perform activities better than what it does now.

Semantic Web is believed by many to transform the face of the web when it comes to play in near future. There are other predictions for Web 3.0 too. Experts comment that with Web 3.0 there shall be an increase in internet connection speed, modular web application and also an advance in graphics.

What I feel is that the Semantic Web shall be quite an advantage to the Internet industry especially with the use of advances Web Applications that shall be introduced along with it. Web applications have a popular use in services like mails, online retail stores, auction websites, weblogs, discussion boards and forums and also in CRPGs (computer role playing games) that are run on the virtual web.

There is quite some time I believe when these shall be fully functional, but the effective and implications have already begun as more and more websites all around are gearing up to adapt the latest technologies and web applications as soon as they are being launched.

Come to Rupizmedia, and Let's Get It Done.
