Google 'Skip (s) Intro' In Its Search Engine Result Pages

Google, the biggest search engine marketing brand, has introduced a new Skip Intro in its search result pages.

The search engine marketing giant has always been working towards making the search experience more refined and simple for its users. Recently a new addition was made on the same grounds. The search engine result pages were seen to contain a new 'Skip Intro' button along with the search results. This button will help users to land on the index page directly ignoring the flash intro that few sites contain.

This seems like a good move if seen from the user end, but if the website designers were to be considered, they are actually a danger to their creation. I am sure web designers across the web were not very thrilled to see this button, since, their hard work and creativity that they include in these intros are now being ignored by the search engines. There web development strategy will have to re-mould itself once again.

Does this mean that Google does not prefer flash AT ALL! Though this seems like a good move on usability perspective, it is actually a taboo on branding. People into online advertising and branding, will now have to look for other ways in which they can work upon the branding of their website.
