Internet Will Not Be Free by 2012

From email subscribers to online marketing and even search engines, all are going to be packaged. Thats what the future of internet holds.

Cannot decide whether to call it a good news or a bad on now, but as the buzz says, internet will soon transform into television like medium. Very website you wish to visit will be available within a small package like module which to which, you can subscribe monthly. The news also indicates that all small and medium sized websites will soon merge into the bigger ones, who will then transform into the few leaders, who shall be providing all required facilities to the visitors.

As a matter of fact all major internet providers have already begun making arrangements and agreements in order to switch to the mode by 2012. not knowing the real intention why this step has been taken, and what good is it going to do to the industry, we can only suggest that the internet is indeed an essential platform for everyone today, and losing its freedom, will make it extremely unreachable and irrational for the rest of the world to connect to their favourite mode of interaction.

This piece of news is said to be confidential and in extreme hush-hush mode until now, but coming to know of their intentions now, it would be good if we already push ourselves into action and prevent any such thing from happening.

I feel that internet should remain free. As far as regulation is concerned, there could be better ways of achieving the same.
