Online Advertisements More Profitable in Regional Languages

Advertisements that are being written and published in regional languages are proving to be more profitable these days.

The indian online advertising spend stands at a massive Rs.215 Crore in the year 2007. this is a huge number comparing the duration of its establishment in indian market. There is no doubt in the fact that the trend of online marketing is at an all time increase in the indian online market too, but the fact that not most of the indians are literate and known to the English language is standing as problem here.

A recent research indicates that once, advertisements that are written in the regional languages are more profitable and useful than those that are in the English language. Regional online advertisements, tend to be more closely related to the users and have a better click result too. The research that was conducted over the ten largest regional bases in India, indicate that approximately 80% of the people are more comfortable with regional searches.

The content of these ads are more closely related to the users, and they tend to connect better with these ads. The kind of growth and development that online marketing is reflecting these days, indicate that soon, online advertisement will reach an estimates Rs. 2,500 crore by the end of 2011.

While using regional languages, what becomes the main emphasis of an advertisment are the animations and the regional jokes/ideas and the basic demography of the region is what that it has an effect on.
