The initial stage of website development is actually the deciding factor of website creation.

Yes, website development is a game and interesting game for those who love the technical world. And like any other game, there are a set of rules and regulations in this game too.

Rule one of the game is to Project Planning. Project here is referred to the website, and planning is to decide on the fate of the website. This infact is the most important stage of website development. Here you not only decide what is the project and how it should appear, but even other details like who it shall target, what should be the target, how to attain the target and what to add and avoid.

The second rule or the second stage of website development is Research and Development. Once we know what we have to achieve, our next goal is to find out how we can achieve it and if there is a simple and ironed way to go about it. Say for example your website requires a shopping cart facility in it. Then you need to know how a shopping cart functions, what are its requirements, and how can you go about creating it.

The third stage of website development is production. This can be compared to playing the game. It is here that all your planning and R& D is actually executed and implemented to see if they are fruitful or not. The actual website development takes place in this stage where your website is created, given a face and a character and added features.

Comes next the analysis stage or the beta stage of website development where the usability of the website is evaluated. If things implemented in the production stage are found non functional in the beta stage, suggestions for changes and replacement are provided.

The Different Phases of Web Application Development Program

Web application development is a collective effort. It requires a lot of R&D and set targets to attain the right result.

The web application development is ideally divided into four different phases which collectively bring out the result of a complete web development project. These phases are divided into the Path, Plan, Development and Testing.

The first stage of any web application development is ‘the path’. Path is nothing but the route or the direction which the management and the developers set for their project. A web application is generally developed for a client or for an internal requirement. The guidelines are set and the requirement is placed before the developer team who proceed towards attaining the set goal after recognizing its restrictions and limitations.

Now that your project guidelines are set, you need to begin working on the project plan. Planning is the most essential stage of any web application development. All necessary decisions and directions are generally taken in this stage. The next step i.e. development is entirely dependent on the planning phase of the web application program. The developers start working on the project as directed in the project plan.

Once the project plan and its specifications are ready, the developers begin working on the project. The web application is developed entirely in this stage. The programmers begin incorporating codes and data variables that will be used throughout the project. The development team prepares a milestone project which is almost like a complete web application and forwards it to the quality testing department.

This is the final stage where web application development actually comes to an end. The testing and support verification of the application is carried out in this phase and stability is provided to the project.

Web Application Development is complete once the quality department says a yes to it and it is ready for use on the client end.
