The video website was recently launched in India under the URL: YouTube.co.in, the website, according to Google spokesperson is said to be specific to indian viewers only and shall be a treat to those who are passionate about the country. Along with the website the company has also introduced the YouTube.com/blog, a place where you can share your thoughts and ideas about YouTube and its videos freely.

The indian version of YouTube is said to have great connectivity and seems to be a lively and exciting place just as the global YouTube website. The site contains all the videos that are present in the global website, with an addition of an 'indian lens'. This shows the recently viewed videos by the indian audience on YouTube. The company has signed up with dozens of local partners who are going to distribute their content through YouTube.
